Comparing the Macwheel MX PRO and MX1 Electric Scooters: Identifying Key Differences
Macwheel offers an exciting range of e-scooters designed to bring versatility and convenience to urban commuters. The MX1 and the MX PRO remain two of their most popular models, and while they share many similarities, there are also several key differences potential buyers should consider.
Both models offer a 350W motor producing a top speed of 15.5 mph, however, where the MX PRO truly excels is in its range. Macwheel MX PRO boasts a bigger 10AH battery which can deliver a range of up to 25 miles, while the MX1, featuring a smaller 7.5AH battery, only has a range of up to 18.6 miles. This means that the MX PRO is more suitable for longer commutes.
In terms of comfort, the Macwheel MX PRO slightly edges out the MX1. It comes equipped with larger 10 pneumatic tires for better shock absorption, compared to the MX1 which has smaller 8.5 tires. However, the MX1 is lighter than the MX PRO, making it more portable and easier to carry.
The MX PRO also has a more superior braking system as it comes with a rear disc brake and a front electric brake. The MX1, on the other hand, only has a rear disc brake. This enhanced braking system on the MX PRO provides better control and safety while riding.
Their designs also differ slightly. The Macwheel MX PRO comes with a wider deck, providing more foot space and therefore greater comfort. The MX1, however, features a slimmer design, which may be more attractive to some riders.
In terms of price, the MX1 is more budget-friendly than the MX PRO, which offers higher-end features and specifications.
