Riders must be 18 years or older and provide a valid driver’s license, state ID, or passport for age verification. Minors are prohibited from using e-scooters. Helmet usage, while not enforced by law, is highly advised for safety. Electric scooters should carry only one person at a time. The maximum allowable speed for e-scooters is 15 mph on roadways and bike lanes. In certain areas designated by the city, the speed limit is reduced to 6 mph.
