One immediately noticeable difference is the power. The Apollo City Pro, equipped with a 600W nominal motor, can reach a maximum speed of 25 mph and boasts of an impressive 28-mile range. On the other hand, the Air Pro, with its 350W nominal motor, can reach up to 18 mph and exhibits a more conservative 15-mile range.
It's also worth noting the differences in weight and portability. While the City Pro is quite easy to manoeuvre, with a weight of 39 lbs including the battery, the Air Pro takes the prize for portability, weighing just 33 lbs. The Air Pro, being lighter and equipped with folding handles, is an exceptional choice for those constantly on-the-go or short on storage space.
In terms of durability, both models offer solid features. The City Pro, with its robust 8.5-inch pneumatic tires and dual shocks, can handle rough terrains and provides excellent ride comfort. However, the Air Pro boasts of triple suspension, offering an unparalleled smooth ride.
Charging time is another consideration. The City Pro will require roughly 8-9 hours for a full charge while the Air Pro can be fully charged in 6 hours, making it a better option for those who need rapid charging.
Overall, the Apollo City Pro appears to be better suited for users valuing speed, power, and ruggedness. However, the Apollo Air Pro, with its excellent portability and fast-charging capability, might serve as an ideal companion for commuters and city travellers.
