Retails Ops Manager - LA

Our team is looking for a Retail Ops Manager to launch our LA Retail Store in Spring 2021. This person will be responsible for building out operations from the ground up, including making the initial key hires for retail associates and fleet mechanics.
We're looking for enthusiastic applicants that are excited about the rapid shift happening in urban mobility. This is an early stage startup, so being comfortable wearing many hats and getting involved with every aspect of the business is a must. For this role in particular, communication and leadership skills are key as there will be heavy interaction with both customers and company partners.
Primary responsibilities:
Managing all in-store activities across LA including sales, rentals, and maintenance operations.
Assisting with customer support for our online e-commerce business - including email, phone, and text channels.
Providing post-purchase support and troubleshooting to existing customers.
Overseeing shipping and logistics for online orders and in-store orders.
Managing repair / mechanic schedules, estimations, and final QC / testing of completed repairs.
Implementing and improving technology-enabled operational processes for both the consumer and rental fleet products.
Providing feedback on technical issues to our manufacturing and engineering teams.
Minimum qualifications:
4+ years of sales, customer support, and/or retail experience and a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Mechanically inclined, as this role will require deep expertise of our electric scooters and components, along with familiarity of how repairs are performed.
Excellent written and verbal communication emails.
Strong technical proficiency
